Land inside these city limits is governed by Duluth's own code and boards. A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is not proof of being inside them — most such addresses fall in unincorporated Gwinnett.

Where allowed (in subdivisions zoned RA-200 and upgrading off-site substandard streets), Local Residential-Rural
Streets do not require curb and gutter. The road base shall be extended 1 foot beyond the edge of pavement, and
the shoulders shall extend 8 feet from the edge of pavement to the standard ditch section on each side (see GDOT
Standards). Otherwise, the roadway shall comply with the standards for new residential subdivision streets, above.
