1. Start date: For a subdivision, the start of the maintenance period shall be the date of final subdivision plat
approval. For a multi-family or non-residential development project, the start of the maintenance period
shall be the date of issuance of the certificate of occupancy.
2. The maintenance period shall extend for 18 calendar months from the start date, above, or from the date
of completion and City approval of the last deferred improvement covered by a Performance Guarantee,
whichever occurs later
3. The maintenance period will be extended for staged or phased developments in those cases that meet
the provisions of Section 1129.05.
