Any applicant wishing to withdraw an application prior to final action by the City Council shall file a written request
for withdrawal with the Planning and Development Director.
1. The withdrawal request must be in writing and signed by the owner, the applicant, or the owner’s
authorized agent.
2. If the request for withdrawal is received prior to the publication of notice for the public hearing as
required under Section 1103.04, the application shall be withdrawn administratively by the Planning and
Development Director.
3. If a request for withdrawal of an application is received after notice has been published (or irretrievably
set for publication) but before the scheduled Planning Commission public meeting, the application may be
withdrawn with the consent of the Planning Commission and removed from further consideration.
4. Should any request for withdrawal be made after the public meeting by the Planning Commission, the
application shall remain on the City Council agenda and the withdrawal request shall be considered for
approval or denial by the City Council. If withdrawal is denied, the City Council will proceed with
consideration of the application.
