# Duluth UDC § 609.06

Fees

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

## Text

a. Fees for all types of sign permits shall be charged as set by the Mayor and Council from time to time.
b. The sign permit fee shall be required of all signs requiring issuance of a sign permit under Section

609.01(a) or Section 609.02. A separate fee shall be charged for any required building or electrical permit.
The exemption from sign fees does not waive compliance with the sign provisions of this Article including
but not limited to, all size, height, and location restrictions.

If a permit is not obtained prior to installation, each applicable permit is subject to double fee.
