Ownership of Land in Conservation and Natural Resource Easements

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

Land within a conservation or natural resource easement may be included within the lots in a subdivision, on land
owned by a homeowners’ association or other entity that meets the provisions for an Owners’ Association as
described herein or transferred to a nonprofit conservation organization or land trust organized under Georgia
law.
