Conventional Subdivisions

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

502.01. Maximum Number of Lots
The maximum number of lots in a conventional subdivision shall be determined by the minimum lot size
requirements of the zoning district in which the subdivision is located, with the exception of lots served by on-site
sewer (septic tank) which shall be subject to the approval and lot size standards of the Gwinnett County
Environmental Health Department.
