Surfacing, Drainage, and Maintenance

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. a. All permanent required off-street parking and vehicle sales spaces shall be properly drained and surfaced.

A proper surface shall consist of concrete, asphalt, or similar smooth material.
b. Off-street parking areas shall be maintained in proper repair, free of potholes, pavement separation or

other surface or curbing deterioration, indistinguishable striping or directional arrows where required,
and missing but required signage and indistinguishable handicapped space designations.
