# Duluth UDC § 351

Mobile Kitchens

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

## Text

The following standards shall apply to mobile kitchens operating more than once per quarter:

a. Mobile Kitchens shall be allowed by Special Use approval in areas zoned CBD, C-1, C-2, HC-Retail and HC-

Auto.
b. Mobile Kitchens must be integrated with a bar, brewpub, and/or restaurant that is legally in existence and

meets all City, County, and State requirements.
c.
Mobile Kitchens must be kept in an area that is enclosed on a minimum of three (3) sides by a minimum
six (6) foot high structure attached to the primary building. Materials and design shall be approved by the
Planning and Development Director.
d. All Mobile Kitchens must use utilities provided by the primary building that they are associated with.

Portable generators are prohibited.
