Retail Sales of Seasonal Items

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

a. Retail sales of seasonal items (e.g. pumpkins, gourds and other Halloween or fall items; Christmas Trees)

are allowed in commercial zoning districts on the same lot between October 1 and December 31.
b. Retail sales of spring items (e.g. plants) and summer refreshments (“summer refreshment stands”) are

allowed in commercial zoning districts between March 21 and September 14.
