Amendments to the Official Zoning Map

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

The Official Zoning Map may be amended from time to time by the City Council, but no amendment shall become
effective unless it shall have been proposed by or shall have first been submitted to the Planning Commission for
review and recommendation in conformity with the procedures set forth in this Code.
