Right of Inspection

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

## Text

1. The Planning and Development Director or the Director’s designee, or other responsible enforcement
agents, officers or employees of the City shall have authority to enter upon privately owned land for the
purpose of performing their assigned and official duties under this Development Code and may take or
cause to be made such examination, surveys or sampling as such enforcement officers or employees
deem necessary.
2. Law enforcement officials or other officials having police powers shall have authority to assist the Director
in enforcement activities.
