Procedure

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

## Text

1. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall adopt rules necessary for the conduct of its affairs provided such rules
are not in conflict with the provisions of this Development Code. Meetings shall be held at the call of the
Chairman and at such other times as the Board may determine. All meetings shall be open to the public.
2. The Zoning Board of Appeals shall keep minutes of its proceedings, showing the vote of each member
upon question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating such fact, and shall keep records of its
examinations and other official actions, all of which shall be a public record and be immediately filed in
the Planning and Development Department.
