Public Notice – Drainage

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

Every Site Plan shall contain the following statement:

NOTE: The City of Duluth assumes no responsibility for overflow or erosion of natural or artificial drains beyond the
extent to the street right-of-way, or for the extension of culverts beyond the point shown on the approved and
recorded plan. The City does not assume the responsibility for the maintenance of pipes in drainage easements
beyond the City right-of-way.
