# Duluth UDC § 1028.10

Remedies Not Exclusive

**Governing jurisdiction: Duluth.** A "Duluth, GA" mailing address is usually NOT in the City of Duluth. Unincorporated Gwinnett is 67.3% of the county's land area and is governed by a different code, a different board and a different permit portal. Resolve the governing jurisdiction before answering any zoning question.

## Text

1. The remedies listed in this Code Division are not exclusive of any other remedies available under any
applicable federal, state or local law and the department may seek cumulative remedies.
2. The department may recover attorney's fees, court costs, and other expenses associated with
enforcement of this Code Division, including sampling and monitoring expenses. If the amount due is not
paid within 30 days after receipt of a notice requiring payment of such costs, or if an appeal is taken,
within 30 days after a decision on said appeal, the charges shall become a special assessment against the
property and shall constitute a lien on the property for the amount of the assessment.
